POWERDYNAMO GENERATOR/ELECTRONIC IGNITION FOR VINTAGE MOTORCYCLES

What we offer is basically a magdynamo pepped up with modern electronics. Light output is, depending on what version is physically usable in your bike, between 100 and 180 Watts at 12 Volts. If wanted, we offer a 6 Volts version (at a lower output). The power for the electronic ignition coil is not taken from this supply, it has its own idenpendent source inside the generator. The ignition offers a very strong and stable spark and is independent of the battery system. Only systems with electronic advance units (4 strokes) need some voltage which can be taken however from a small electronics battery (radio type). The concept of any solution will mean that you do not have to make changes on your engine block.

powerdynamo solid state ignition for vintage 2 stroke sports motorcycles

Highspeed (up to 22000 revs/min) magnet based solid state ignition for sports purposes. At 18.000 rev/min (i.e. 36000 sparks/min) still 25 Kilovolts output. (3000 to 8000 revs 40 Kilovolts). Diameter of rotor is 59mm, rotor weight is 210 gramms. Replaces such systems as Motoplat, Hitachi, Fensatronic and Kröber.

DIY kit ! comprises complete electrical material, has to be mechanically adapted by customer in tapper and base plate. With adapter plates and tapper changes fitting for many 1 and 2-cylinder 2-stroke engines. Versions for clockwise and anticlockwise turning available.
